Sydney College of the Arts & Workshop for Potential Cinema presents visiting filmmaker Richard Tuohy in a unique hands on workshop. This all day workshop will be a crash course in working with16mm film and experimental dark room techniques to explore a new photo-chemical approach, ‘Chromaflex’, which allows colour and black and white images on the same strip of film.
This technique can generate areas of colour negative, colour positive, black and white, as well as areas of clear or black all on the one strip of film or indeed within the one frame.
The Chromaflex workshop is suitable for film novices however, it is equally engaging for advanced experimental film practitioners.
